Review and enforcement
What happens after a report is submitted
- Trust and Safety reviews the report and prioritizes suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and underage-user concerns.
- We may preserve relevant account, message, image, and technical records needed for investigation and legal compliance.
- When a report appears credible, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts and remove violating content while the review continues.
- Confirmed CSAM or CSAE is escalated according to applicable law, including reports to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority where required.
- We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and may notify the reporter when appropriate, while protecting privacy, safety, and investigation integrity.
Legal compliance
CSAM and child-safety law
We take appropriate action after obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE, including removal, account enforcement, evidence preservation where appropriate, and required reporting to child protection authorities.
We expect every user to follow these standards, our Terms of Use, and applicable child-safety laws. Violations may result in permanent account removal and referral to law enforcement or child-safety organizations.
